About
the Contest (closed to entries August 1st, 2009)
The
Madison Land Conservation Trust is proud to announce its first annual
photo contest. The contest is open to amateur photographers and we will
offer prizes of $100, $50 and $25 in each of five categories: landscapes/waterscapes,
plants, wildlife, and cultural/historic. A separate category for youth
under age 15 will also be included. A special Hike for kids who want to
learn about Nature photography is planned for July 11th; see
our events page. Please read our rules,
get out on the trails with your camera, and fill out the application
form to enter!!

Sponsorship
We invite sponsors who are willing to contribute at various levels:
- $50-$199 sponsors will have their names displayed on a sponsor’s poster at the awards ceremony
- $200-$399 sponsors will have their logos on our web site and on the contest’s promotional materials
- Sponsors of $400 or more will also have their names associated with the top prize
